His entire existence is pathetic to me. The power scaling in this garbage is horrible. Like I said the only GOOD thing about BTTH is the animation, it's seriously one of the best (Perfect World and Fanren probably the best) only reason why I continue to watch this garbage written show.

Like I said thrash MC compared to Lin Dong and Mu Chen, not only are their shows infinitely written better (regardless of the same writer like some otherworldly idiots like to point out) but their progress and training MAKES SENSE. These guys train and train and train and learn, this asshole just cries and gets buffs and gets saved from his teacher and people stronger than him EVERYTIME (the guy has not won ONE fight by himself). Everyone he beats is due to the help or non help of someone else.

Literally the only time Mu Chen and Lin Dong gets help or even need it is to fight people 2-3 realms ahead of them, which makes ABSOLUTE sense. So much episodes of BTTH yet the progress is garbage. Too much romance BS and thrash MC who seems to can't mature, unlike the other 2 from his universe who are definitely more resolute and mature than this clown of a kid.

All the characters you mentioned can't hold a candle to my boy Qin Chen. Your Mu Chen and Lin Dong are still babies compared to how ruthless Qin Chen is.

The power scaling makes absolute sense. Luo Feng was never able to beat anyone in a higher realm that was above the level of his mental capabilities. In fact, MULTIPLE people had to fight against this MC multiple times. He is infinitely better in comparison to Xiao Yan.

Not surprised by the number of traitors, the moment they entered the sect I already guessed on there being traitors based on how the disciples looked at her. There’s usually some respectable way in which they greet their sect masters, when they greeted her it seemed more of a formality, when she was being greeted by the elders it took them time to get up and greet her formally. It showed what they thought of her position as a sect master in my opinion.

I think it’s because that his main thing to power up or speciality if I may put it that way. For example the guy whose techniques are ice, or poison girl whose techniques stems from her poison physic, Cai Lin whose ability comes from her medusa physic, Zi Yan because of her spirit beast physic (I won’t state what spirit beast she is I don’t think it has been mentioned yet), his teacher also relied on his heavenly coupled with the fact he is an alchemist. Since he has three or two heavenly flames it has become his physic or some form of ‘special constitution’ like the other characters I’ve mentioned. So to level up he needs to upgrade that included his lightening thingy and that heavy broad sword.
